I think I'm reaching the point in my life where I am not satisfied with merely complaining about this liberal socialist government we are stuck with. I want to be a political activist. The problem, however, is that my husband is an Intel guy in the army with a TS clearance and he says I need to just chill out until he gets out of the army. He says I can get him in trouble if I do too much political activism. I wonder if it's because I am a conservative and our government is a bunch of closet commies.

My husband is in the Navy. First Class. TS clearance as well, and he tells me to GO FOR IT. We, as spouses are CIVILIANS. I am extremely active, attending protests, lobbying, creating and signing petitions. None of it has ever hurt his career. He has advanced faster than most, even.

good to know. I didn't think it would affect him at all really. I mean, as long as I don't get myself arrested, it shouldn't affect his clearance at all when he goes to get it renewed. I can also argue that as I am nearing the age of 30, it is natural for me to become restless if I am not doing the things in my life that I want to do. It is a normal part of human development and I am only acting on what comes natural. He can't argue with science. HA! Plus he is studying psychology now and he knows that I am right. Plus I won't get arrested unless I go to a counter protest for OWS and I can't resist the temptation to punch those bleeding heart, brainless, spineless, godless, pantywaist fuckers in the fucking face if they fuck with me. Sorry. Libtards just make me wanna say FUCK! LOL
